WHAT IS EVENT DESIGN

A public gathering or an assembly to serve a purpose, fulfil a motive, complete a ritual or ceremony etc is called an event. The art of transforming ideas into reality is for the accomplishment of the agenda of such events is coined as EVENT DESIGN. Design is a plan that has the specifications of the construction and completion of the event sketched out with reference to the type of event. Basically, events are categorised as

Private Events

Private events are those events which are hosted by individuals or a small group to achieve and celebrate a personal intention. Events Like Weddings, Birthday parties, Baby showers & Festival gatherings, etc.

Corporate Events

Corporate events are organised by companies, corporate groups, firms in order to promote their brand, product, launch, etc. Also to celebrate or acknowledge business bonds and the employees. Events like Conferences, Networking events, Meetings, Seminars & Product launches, etc.

Charity Events

Charity events are the events which are hosted by individuals, companies, associations and groups to work together for charity especially for a social cause. Events like Fund raisings, Met gala, Charitable auctions & Society balls, etc.

Live Events

Events hosted by brands for entertainment purposes such as by celebrities, brands which involve mass participation by people on the basis of ticket sales. Events like Live concerts, Sports events & Entertainment shows, etc.

Event Design Industry

The event design industry is a humongous industry that expands proportionally with the increase in demand for social presence and the need for public assembly.
